12° Memorial Davide Failla: Si chiude la prima giornata, grande successo per la Kappaò Mania

Si chiude la prima giornata del 12° Memorial Davide Failla che continuerà sabato 3 agosto. Nonostante il classico vento di Ponente che si è abbattuto sulle coste della Sicilia Sud Orientale, la manifestazione fiore all'occhiello del Kamarina Beach Sport, ha regalato spettacolo e tanto agonismo.

A partire dalle 17,30, si sono svolti i mini tornei di calcetto a 5 per bambini diretti dai mister Alfonso Core e Luciano di Vita.

Spazio anche per i tornei di beach Volley diretti dall'asd Free Volley di Lucia Invincibile. Sono andati in scena tornei di 2vs2 misto: con la coppia Bucchieri e Brischetto a conquistare il gradino piu' alto del podio. Secondo posto per la coppia Amato/Chiaramonte e terzo posto per la coppia Nicosia/Denaro.

Nel torneo 4vs4 under 16, a trionfare e' stato il quartetto formato da Migliorisi-Messina-Piccione e Di Vita. Secondo piazzamento per Rizzopipo-Iabichella-Guarnuccio-Piccione e Drogo. Terzo posto invece per Occhipinit-Ragusa-Villa e Marino.

Per lo speciale Memorial Davide Failla 3vs3 ad avere la meglio è stato il trio formato da Brischetto, Bucchieri e Licitra. Secondo posto per Alfieri, Sanzone e Macca. Terza posizione per Drogo, Migliorisi e Messina.

Il Clou della serata inizia intorno alle 22,30 con la manifestazione degli sport da combattimento organizzata da Emanuele Schininà dell'Accademia degli Sport da Combattimento di Vittoria, coadiuvato dai suoi collaboratori. Prima di dare inizio agli scontri, come ogni anno, non e' mancato il tributo al piccolo Davide Failla e anche ai fratelli Alessio e Simone D'Antonio scomparsi nelle recenti settimane.

Sul ring grande entusiasmo per i successi del vittoriese Cristian Pugliarello al suo esordio in K1 pro contro Alessio Lupiccolo di Mazara (Tp). Trionfo anche per l'altro vittoriese Federico Firullo contro Pietro Liuzzo in MMA pro. Nella boxe grande vittoria per la giovanissima Graziella Schininà. Soddisfacente pari invece per Salem Daoldaul.

Come sottolineato da Emanuele Schininà ai nostri microfoni, una grande stagione piena di successi per l'Accademia degli sport da combattimento.

Tutto il ricavato delle due giornate targate Memorial Failla, saranno devolute al centro trasfusionale della provincia di Ragusa che da anni dona il suo contributo a favore della lotta contro la Talassemia.

Appuntamento dunque a sabato 3 agosto con l'altro grandissimo appuntamento della Fashion day organizzata dalla Fashion Group di Caltagirone.
