  thousands, or tens of thousands of polygons,
  like I\'ve had to do, it can become an issue.I use a crew cut hair

  I also use a hat, or beret on my characters, so I have to delete each strand, or polygon, that sticks out from
  the hat.This results in tens of thousands,
  or more, of polygons removed and information about each deleted
  strand of hair is stored in the project file
  when saved. This not only resulted in humongous project file, some over 750 MB in size, but it was also taking upwards of 7 minutes to perform a
  save.The way around this was to save the object(s) as a new asset
  with the polygons removed. This dramatically reduced the size of my saved project files, from 750
  MB to around 15 MB or less, and reduced save times from 7 minutes to 15 or 20 seconds.Awesome article my friend!
